DESCRIPTION:A Dementia Friend participates in a one-hour Dementia Friends Information Session offered by a Dementia Friends Champion. A Dementia Friend learns five key messages about dementia and learns a bit about what it’s like to live with dementia. They also learn about community resources and basic communication strategies. DESCRIPTION:Seeking Champion Volunteers: Do you want to become a Dementia Friends Champion? \nA champion attends an additional training to be able to present Dementia Friends Information sessions to the public. Champion Volunteers are asked to present at least to sessions per year. \nThe Champion training will be offered via Zoom.
