DESCRIPTION:Dementia Friendly America is a national network of communities\, organizations\, and individuals seeking to ensure that communities are equipped to support people living with dementia and their caregivers. Dementia Friendly Iowa promotes change and education in communities to create a more informed\, safe\, and respectful place for people living with dementia and their caregivers. Community initiatives are driven by volunteer action teams including people with dementia.\n\nIn January\, the Dubuque action team is hosting a re-launch meeting. Anyone from the Dubuque community is welcome to join to learn more about initiatives in our community and get involved. The meeting will be held virtually on Thursday\, January 11 at 10am.
