Dementia Friendly Linn County is committed to grow the number of Dementia Friends as well as Dementia Friendly Organizations. The overall goal is to reduce the stigma regarding dementia as well as help residents feel more comfortable interacting with people living with dementia. An initial Parking Lot Event at the DeWolf Family Innovation Center for Aging & Dementia on June 20, 2024 will officially launch Dementia Friendly Linn County and begin implementation of its goals.
