The free one-hour session is a discussion led by Dementia Friends Champion and Professor of Gerontology at the University of Northern Iowa, Dr. Elaine Eshbaugh. You’ll learn some basics of dementia such as what dementia is, what it’s like to live with the disease, some tips for communicating with people who have dementia, and ways you can support people living with dementia.
