You can become a Dementia Friend by attending a free informational session to learn about living with dementia and the simple things you can do to support someone living with dementia. Program is hosted by the Martin Memorial Library in New Hartford.

What Happens at the Information Session? This one-hour session is led by Dementia Friends Champion Shari Cary. You’ll learn some basics of dementia such as what dementia is, how it differs from normal aging, some tips for communicating with people who have dementia, and other ways to support people with dementia.

When: Tuesday, October 21 (11:00am – 12:00pm)
