Become a Dementia Friend! (Waterloo)

Become a Dementia Friend by attending a one hour informational session to learn about what it’s like to live with dementia and the simple things you can do to support someone living with the disease.
The free one-hour session will be led by Megan Zimmerman, Dementia Friendly State Coordinator with the Dementia Friendly Iowa initiative and Kevin Dill, who is living with Lewy body dementia. You’ll learn some basics of dementia, what it’s like to live with dementia, and local resources and supports available in the Cedar Valley! Free & open to the public.
