Dr. Elaine Eshbaugh, UNI professor of Gerontology and director of
Dementia Outreach & Education, will discuss strategies for brain
health and prevention of cognitive decline.
What can we actually do to protect our brains as we age? This session
will explore what current research tells us about brain health and
dementia prevention, including the lifestyle factors associated with
dementia risk.
Participants will learn practical, realistic strategies for supporting brain
health, along with what the science does – and does not – tell us about
preventing dementia.
