📣 Calling Davenport & Bettendorf area citizens! Will you help create a plan for a Dementia Friendly Iowa Quad Cities?

The local Dementia Friendly Quad Cities (Iowa) action team is looking to gather community input as they work toward launching a Dementia Friendly Community initiative for the Iowa Quad Cities and applying to Dementia Friendly America.

A Dementia Friendly Community is a place where people living with dementia…
• Can live as independently as possible
• Continue to be a valued member of their community
• Are met with understanding
• Are given support when necessary
• Find their way around and are safe
• Access places where they are known (banks, cafes, shops, places of worship)
• Maintain their social networks

Become a part of the action and join one of two upcoming Town Hall meetings:
📅 10-11:30am on Monday, Sept. 16 at the Bettendorf Public Library (2950 Learning Campus Dr, Bettendorf, IA 52722)
📅 3-4:30pm on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at CASI in Davenport (1035 W Kimberly Rd, Davenport, IA 52806)
