What will attendees learn?

During the Dementia Friends portion, attendees learn some basics of dementia such as what dementia is, how it can affect a person, tips for communicating with people who have dementia, and other ways to support people living with dementia. The 10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s education program from the Alzheimer’s Association helps people recognize common signs of the disease and know what to watch for in themselves and others.
